There's a Kickstarter to conserve, digitize, and display Neil Armstrong's Apollo 11 spacesuit. Armstrong's spacesuit is currently being stored in a climate-controlled collections storage area that is not accessible to the public at the Smithsonian. The spacesuit requires conservation to stop its current deterioration.Why is this important? From the Kickstarter page...
