Today's post is dedicated to an appreciation of Leonard Nimoy and although everyone is remembering him as Mr. Spock, here are a few examples of his lesser known roles.
With William Shatner, in "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."
From "Bonanza."
From "Sea Hunt."
From "Mission Impossible."
And finally as Dr. William Bell, in "Fringe."
You've A lovely view of heaven, but we'd rather be with you. Leonard, we love you and will always miss you.
Fun Time! will return next Saturday.

Elegant Wooden Cabin in Idaho
At 550 square feet, this is a wonderful retreat. Have a look.
Now, isn't that a lot of house to pack into 559 square feet?

15 Shipping Container Homes
I saw this on Lloyd Kahn's Shelter Blog and looking at his source, found these beautiful examples of homes made from shipping containers.
Here are what I consider the best three. You can click HERE for the rest.

Original Unverpackt Update
I've been watching this ever since the first time I posted about it. Original Unverpackt has now opened it's first location.
Located in Berlin-Kreuzberg, Germany, Original Unverpackt is the West's first zero-waste grocery. Everything is offered in bins and you must bring your own containers to hold it. Less packing from the source means less waste and less cost and less stuff in landfills, since we seems to have problems picking up after ourselves and recycling.
Here's a link to their website that's been translated through Google. If that doesn't work just google Original Unverpackt and hit the translate option.
How about someone do this in America?

Handground Precision Coffee Grinder
I love a good cup of coffee and although I have been enjoying a particular pre-ground brand lately (Bustelo), I have generally gone to grinding my own.
Coffee grinders can be expensive and the one I'm currently using doesn't grind to espresso level power fineness, so when I found the Handground on Kickstarter, I decided to invest the $49 to get one. If you're interested, there's 28 days left.
When it arrives (in August, hopefully), I'll let you know how it works out.

A Plane That Will Fly Anywhere in the World Within Four Hours
The plane, shown above in an artist rendering, is being developed by British aerospace firm Reaction
Engines Limited. The design of it's engines will allow it to run at much higher power than is currently possible, making any earthly destination reachable within four hours.
Better than that, this new engine will allow it to reach space while making it much cheaper to get there,
There won't be any windows, but there will be cameras on the outside, making it possible for the inside of the craft to be one large view of the outside, like the photo below.
That would take some getting used to for those of us who already don't care much for flying.
Test flights of the plane are planned for 2019/
